This free service allows developers and designers to create a detailed profile about their skills. After creating an account, they can enter in contact with other members to exchange useful stuff. They can also be contacted by 'customers' looking to hire developers or designers. The service is only dedicated to developers or designers working on the most advanced platforms (Mac OS X, Web 2.0 and iPhone SDK). If you are only making applications for Windows, this service is not for you.

With the dev4mac online service, you can:

- Create a detailed profile showcasing your skills (the profile URL can be added to your website)
- Locate members on a map (powered by Google Map service)
- Contact other members with a private messaging system
- Join groups created by members and participate to the group discussions
- Create your own groups with photos, comments and a full forum
- Browse the main forum and reply to discussions
- Browse useful tutorials
- Add your own tutorials for other members (a good way to share your skills)
- Browse Classified Ads
- Create your own Classified Ads to showcase a particular skill or a service
- Add your products or services to the dev4mac store (you receive payments directly on your own paypal account)

You have a palette on the left side of the website that allows you to access the main functions of your user account. This palette only appears when you are connected and is dynamic (auto hide/show mode)

We remove all accounts without a detailed profile. So if you are a developer or a designer, you have to give as much information as you can. If you are a customer, you have to describe your goals in the description field.

If someone is bothering or harassing you, blocking them is usually the best solution. Visit the Account Settings page to learn how to block people. If someone continues to harass you despite your efforts, you can report them here.

You can report spam, pornography, or any other inappropriate content here, or by clicking the "Report" link on the page containing the content you wish to report.

Absolutely. We do not share any personally identifying information about you to any third party.

You can always make your profile private by visiting the Account Privacy page.

You can block people by adding their username to your blocked users list. Visit the Account Settings page to learn more about how to block people.
